John works with districts and schools on planning effective and comprehensive school improvement by collaborating and facilitating on systemic implementation of instructional pedagogy, classroom assessments, and strategies by teachers, and monitored by administrators and teacher leaders. Topics include: Standards-Focused Project-Based Learning, Differentiated Instruction, Universal Design, Unit Design, English skills, and Grading and Assessment.

John specializes in team development and coordination on state-wide initiatives to help schools stay off and/or get off of the High Priority List for not making Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) based on No Child Left Behind legislation.
