John has worked in educational research and pedagogical redesign for over 30 years. As Executive Director, he is responsible for overall program management, and the establishment of strategic partnerships.

Jason began his career as a social science and computer teacher in Massachusetts, and worked as a management consultant before finding his true calling as a researcher. At BIE, Jason is responsible for all research and evaluation activities.

As a former teacher and curriculum writer at New Technology High School in Napa, CA, David brings a wealth of classroom PBL experience to his workshops. At BIE, he is responsible for the design, management and frequent delivery of BIE professional development offerings.

As a middle school Science and high school French teacher, Lauren developed rigorous projects that captured students’ interests. At BIE, she coordinates the planning and implementation of PBL professional development workshops and follow-up coaching.

As a former elementary classroom teacher and school administrator, Rosanna has extensive experience in implementing curricular reform at the classroom, school and district levels. At BIE, she provides districts with PBL implementation support.

Alfred used his industry experience and engineering background to teach Math & Physics at High Tech High in San Diego. He later transitioned to Professional Development & Dissemination for HTH. At BIE, Alfred is responsible for expanding BIE's Web 2.0 presence and other education technologies to support and enhance the PBL experience.
