This week my professional and personal lives have intersected in a way that surprised me. At work I’ve been reflecting with my district partners on their PBL implementation goals for the year and measuring progress toward achieving them. Meanwhile, at home (well, actually on Facebook) I’ve been watching many of my former high school students graduate from college. 

In particular this week I’ve been planning for a meeting in Santa Ana Unified School District in Orange County, CA. The implementation of PBL there is expanding in 2016-17 from two model schools to an additional 14 schools. In coming weeks, I’ll be facilitating a meeting with district leaders to help them identify goals for PBL implementation for their expanded context.
