Miss H
Thanks for your question.
I recommend looking at the National Standards, which are broken down by grade level and ability. By look at these, you can focus on the skills you want to assess and create rubrics.

Remember you want to begin with the end in mind. What do you want to students to be able to demonstrate in class? I think these National Standards will give you a good starting point and framework. From there you can do further research in designing projects, effective teaching strategies, and authentic assessments.

Keep the questions coming!

hello everyone,
i’m currently doing my master degree on education (biology). i’m interested with this PBL approach but the concept is still new in my country. i need to use all of the information and documents provided through this useful website. is it possible for me to get any formal letter from this institute saying that i’m using all these legally for my thesis? thank you for your attention.
regards,

Good question Nitce.

I’m excited to hear about the work you are doing in your country and how you plan to explore PBL. Yes, you may use any of the resources from the website. Our policy is simple: If you can download it from our website, you can use it. You just need to leave theattribution line (BIE) on what use and provide the proper citations. Any further questions?
