How do you take daily grades during a project?

I have launched a new project and am concerned about how to take daily grades for the next few weeks while we are completing it.  I have 3 or 4 check points along the way for the teams that might could be used, but it seems like it would be an all or nothing grade.  Any suggestions or tips from your past math projects would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the post.

You definitely could have daily grades during a project.  We usually give two pieces of advice for teachers:
- Grade As You Go (i.e. Check-ins, homework, quizzes).  Give a grade for each product, not one grade for the whole project.
- Disaggregating the Data (Content Knowledge & 21st Century Skills).  One of the most powerful ways to emphasize the importance of 21st Century Skills is to grade and report them separately.  Separate % or weights for content and 21st century skills.  Also, some teachers like to make the team grade a percentage of the individual grade or part of Collaboration.

See the attached .pdf for possible weighting criteria and breakdown of project deliverables.
