What is it? This is a project designed for a high school Algebra II course. Students take on the role of product designers trying to create a new and improved container that resolves a current problem (environmental, financial, or functional). Students connect these designs to mathematical models, using them to improve the design of the containers.

Why do we like it? This is a "Gold Standard" example of a project, with a completed Project Design Overview and Student Learning Guide from one of our National Faculty, Telannia Norfar.

How can you use it? Teachers can adapt this project for their own use, or it can be examined for professional development purposes and as a model for completing the Project Planner.
