Feroze Munshi National Faculty

Feroze started teaching Math in his neighborhood comprehensive public high school in Miami, FL after receiving his BS in Mechanical Engineering. Facing classrooms full of students who were discouraged or disenfranchised by their school experiences, he began to develop projects and inquiry-driven lessons to reach and motivate his students. After moving to California, Feroze became a founding staff member of two different charter schools heavily integrating PBL, performance assessments, and college readiness portfolios. In these schools he taught an integrated Math & Physics course, and Digital Media Arts to mainstream (detracked) classes in both suburban and urban environments. Outside the classroom, Feroze developed project-based arts curriculum for his network of schools and served in all manner of leadership roles including subject-area lead, advisory program leader, ed-tech facilitator, mentor to beginning teachers and running PBL professional development.
