Kelly Reseigh National Faculty
Kelly Reseigh is currently a Professional Development Coordinator for the Douglas County School District in Castle Rock, CO. As a founding member of Sage Canyon Elementary in Castle Rock, Kelly has supported the implementation and development of Project Based Learning and understands the challenges and successes that come with transitioning to a PBL model. One of her greatest passions is strategically developing and supporting the implementation of sustainable systems. In her current role, she is working with leadership teams to create a culture of innovation and inquiry through high quality backward planning. She was an elementary educator for ten years, teaching first through fourth grades.
Kelly has been an active part of the authorization process for an International Baccalaureate World School and completed Level 1 and Level 2 Primary Years Programme training. Kelly specializes in educational technology and maintained a 1:1 iPad classroom. She works with students and teachers to find innovative and authentic ways to infuse technology into PBL. She is also a Certified STEP Associate for Emergenetics and has received training in Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools. Kelly is passionate about student ownership, voice, and choice throughout the PBL process to make learning meaningful and powerful. She believes that Project Based Learning engages students' hearts and minds by allowing them to inquire and think critically about the world around them.
