Kristyn Kamps National Faculty
Kristyn has most recently been a 7th and 8th grade science teacher in Holland, MI. Six years ago, when her district implemented a 1-to-1 laptop program, Kristyn helped pioneer strategies for deepening student understanding in a one-to-one learning environment using project-based learning as the structural framework.
Through her commitment to teacher excellence, Kristyn facilitated K-8 restructuring of science curriculum to align with state and national standards. In addition to developing curriculum for science, English, literature, technology and culture courses that incorporate universal design for learning components and 21st century skills through the use of technological applications, Kristyn has also led professional development workshops on one-to-one laptop implementation and project-based learning at district and state education conferences.
