Survey Instrument and Descriptive Findings:  National Survey of PBL and High School Reform

In 2007 BIE conducted a national survey of PBL use and high school reform. The study included over 350 high school teachers who had used PBL in core academic subjects -- math, science, social studies and English.

The teacher survey instrument is available in several formats -- including as PDF below. This survey is also available in Word format, upon request, and is available online in SurveyMonkey.com. (Organizations with accounts can import a copy by contacting Jason Ravitz at jason@bie.org.)

Overall (raw and percent) frequencies of responses for each individual survey item are available here.
