PBL Handbook

The PBL Handbook provides an overview of the what, why, and how of PBL. It guides middle and high school teachers through all phases of successful PBL, from deciding on a project idea to reflecting on the outcomes of a project.

The PBL Handbook is designed to support both experienced and novice PBL teachers. It can be used as a supplement to the BIE professional development workshops in PBL or as a stand-alone guide to PBL. Regardless of how you use it, the PBL Handbook will enable you to design high-quality projects in your middle or high school classroom.

Translated versions are available in traditional Chinese, modern Chinese, Portuguese, and Korean. Spanish and Thai versions are currently in development.
