PBE Overview

This useful booklet describes the design and structure of the problem-solving process in the units, and gives recommendations on how to sequence the units within a typical stand-alone high school or community college micro- and macroeconomics course. This Overview also shows the alignment of each unit with Voluntary National Content Standards in Economics formulated by the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) in partnership with the National Association of Economic Educators (NAEE), the Foundation for Teaching Economics, and the American Economic Association’s (AEA) Committee on Education.
