Vermont Medical School Says Goodbye to Lectures
National Public Radio
Saying “lectures aren’t the best way to learn,” the dean of Vermont’s medical school argues instead for “active learning” methods. A few medical schools began using problem-based learning back in the 1960s, which contributed to BIE’s thinking about PBL. Good to see more and more stories like this coming from the post-secondary education world.
